Low energy.

Poor sleep.

Brain fog.

Weight gain.

Mood changes.

Hot flashes.

Low libido.

They try supplements, diets, and exercise programs without ever knowing what's actually happening inside their body.

The first step is not guessing.

The first step is getting the information.

Call your healthcare provider and schedule an appointment for a comprehensive blood panel. Don't settle for a basic annual physical if you're experiencing symptoms. Ask for a thorough evaluation that includes your hormones.

Depending on your age, symptoms, and medical history, your provider may recommend testing:

Estrogen (Estradiol)

Progesterone

Testosterone

DHEA-S

Cortisol

Thyroid hormones including TSH, Free T3, and Free T4

Vitamin D

Vitamin B12

Ferritin and Iron Studies

Fasting Glucose

Hemoglobin A1c

Insulin

A complete lipid panel

CBC (Complete Blood Count)

CMP (Comprehensive Metabolic Panel)

These results provide valuable information about how your body is functioning. They can help identify hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, thyroid disorders, blood sugar issues, inflammation, and other factors that may be contributing to the way you feel.

Many physicians simply don't have the time during a routine office visit to walk through every marker in detail or explain how all of the results fit together. That isn't a criticism. It's the reality of today's healthcare system.

Getting your lab work is the first step.

Understanding what it means is the next.

In my next post, I'll explain what to do once you have your results and how to begin turning numbers on a lab report into a personalized wellness strategy.

If you've already had blood work done and would like help understanding your results, you can schedule a consultation with me. Together we'll review your lab work, discuss your symptoms, and create a personalized wellness plan designed around your body and your goals.

Reflect on this: The answers you've been looking for may already be in your blood. The first step is asking for the right tests.
